At Members First, we believe big dreams deserve big opportunities—and our scholarship program is designed to help young members achieve more and build a brighter future. Our story began with serving teachers, so education has always been a cornerstone of who we are. Honoring that legacy, we're proud to offer four (4) $1,250 scholarships to graduating high school students who demonstrate academic excellence and a strong commitment to their communities.
We remain dedicated to supporting the educational dreams of our young members and their families. These scholarships are designed to ease the financial challenges of higher education and empower students to pursue their academic and career aspirations with confidence.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must be a primary member of Members First Credit Union of Florida.
- Applicant must be a current senior or graduate of an accredited high school, ready to begin as a first-year continuing education student. A GED is not an acceptable substitute.
- Demonstrate academic excellence, community involvement, and leadership qualities.
Application Process:
- Complete the online scholarship application or downloadable pdf form available on our website by March 31, 2026.
- Submit an essay in 500 words or less on one of the topics outlined in the application.
- Provide official transcripts for the past four years, including your grade point average (GPA).
- Provide at least one (1) academic letter of recommendation from a teacher, coach or counselor, and one (1) individual letter of recommendation.
Important Dates:
- Application opens: January 1, 2026
- Application deadline: March 31, 2026
- Scholarship recipients will be notified in April 2026.
